Important: This page explains how to delete your data from WindowShopper, including data obtained through Facebook Login.

Overview

WindowShopper respects your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you signed in using Facebook and want to delete your data from our app, you have two options:

Option 1: Delete Account in the App

The fastest way to delete your data is through the app itself:

Step 1: Open the App

Launch the WindowShopper app on your device and sign in to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings

Tap on your profile icon → Settings → Account Management

Step 3: Delete Account

Scroll down and tap "Delete Account" → Confirm deletion

⏱️ Processing Time: Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

Step 1: Send Email Request

Send an email to: techromul@gmail.com

Subject: Data Deletion Request - WindowShopper

Include:

Step 2: Verification

We will verify your identity and respond within 48 hours to confirm receipt of your request.

Step 3: Deletion

Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Personal Information

Activity Data

Store/Seller Data (if applicable)

⚠️ Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to proceed before confirming.

Please note the following exceptions:

Legal Requirements

We may retain certain data if required by law, such as:

Backup Systems

Data in backup systems will be deleted within 90 days as part of our regular backup rotation cycle.

Revoking Facebook Permissions

To completely remove WindowShopper's access to your Facebook data:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find "WindowShopper" in the list
  3. Click "Remove" to revoke all permissions

This will prevent WindowShopper from accessing any Facebook data, but it does not delete data already stored in our app. You must also delete your account using one of the methods above.
